The etymology of “companion,” from the Latin cum-panis, means “to share bread with someone.” It’s not just the etymological root and semantic basis of many food rituals, it also suggests the solid and founded relationship of sharing and con-vivium that is at the foundation of preparing food and the act of eating together.

The most precious and creative part of our business is designing new fabric collections inspired by Italian art. We draw inspiration from the Middle Ages, starting with fascinating stories like that of Matilda of Canossa, a remarkable medieval woman, among many others.
The fabrics are conceived and designed by us, led by our exceptional designer, Lucia Bertaggia. Lucia, an architect and mother of four beautiful children, relocated from Milan to Indianapolis ten years ago, and her creativity is truly superb.The fabrics are meticulously printed in Italy using the finest materials such as pure linen, as well as simple yet high-quality options like organic cotton. Our focus is always on natural fabrics, ensuring that the end product has exceptional aesthetic value and quality
