According to Mexican tradition, a poor girl named Maria, unable to afford an extravagant gift, gathered humble roadside weeds to place at the church altar on Christmas Eve. When she laid the weeds on the altar, they blossomed into vibrant crimson flowers, later known as poinsettias.
Imagine Christmas lunch, where no one is left out of the joy, and everyone gathers around this table bursting with color, reminding us that in the simple act of offering what we have, even a humble weed can be transformed into a splendid flower.
